The Battitude decides to leave city league play and head into tournament play.

Competing in Allen’s Recreational Spring Invitational Tournament.  The girls came in second place after a tough 4 to 3 lost to the Frisco Fireballs in the Championship game.

It was the Battitude’s second lost in a double elimination tournament ending their hopes of winning the championship.  Both loses were to tournament champion Frisco’s Fireballs in extremely tight contested games.

During that run the Battitude beat the Wylie Rebels and McKinney Renegades which were both tournament teams.

At the conclusion of that tournament Coach stated the girls will determine if they are ready for tournament play.   The next morning the Battitude had a gold level league game scheduled with the McKinney’s Renegades. 

Well, the coach was right, the girls spoke up with their play and showed us they were beyond city league play.

The wheels were set in motion to create a tournament focused organization built about the core Battitude girls.
